Star Light

“Star Light, Star Bright” was one of my favorite nursery rhymes as a child.  As an adult, I still occasionally find myself repeating this poem as I stare into the night sky.  One of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe is this star print blouse.  It pairs well with almost everything, and I just feel really good wearing it.  What are your favorite items in your closet?

One of my favorite runway collections this Spring 2012 was Louis Vuitton Ready-to-Wear.  I’m sure you’ve seen the beautiful pastel and eyelet lace pieces that have been featured in just about every fashion magazine this season.  Since LV is a brand beyond my price range, you could imagine my sheer excitement when I saw this LV “inspired” skirt at H&M.  Thank goodness for high street fashion!

 

 

Garden Party

Garden Party. . .both, descriptive of this beautiful floral print, and also of where you could wear this dress.  Since I don’t attend many garden parties, so far I’ve worn this to work (with a cobalt blue cardigan) and to a bridal shower.  My first instinct was to pair it with pretty nude heels, but in the end I decided to add more color.  Would you have gone for neutral shoes, or stuck with a colorful footwear choice?
