Belted

TOP: J.Crew Blythe Blouse. SKIRT: Vero Moda. BELT: Anthropologie. HANDBAG: Balenciaga. SHOES: Nine West. SUNGLASSES: Chanel. JEWELRY: ASOS Necklace, H&M Ring, Forever 21 Bracelets.

This sparkly, beaded Anthropologie belt is one of those looks-good-with-everything, elevates-your-outfit, thank-goodness-I-bought-it kind of accessories.  I purchased it a few years back, but they have come out with similar versions since then.  Do you have an accessory in your wardrobe that you can’t live without?

that belt is amazing! Also, love the skirt. I have a dress that’s shorter in the front and longer in the back…I call them mullet skirts but I’m sure there’s a real name. Either way, adorable! :)

Thanks Ashley! Ha ha, “mullet skirts” is pretty funny! I’m might have to start using that one! I’m not sure what the official name is, but I call them high-low skirts.

I must try one of these ‘hi-low’ skirt.. yours is very pretty. If there is one accessory item I can’t live without in my wardrobe, that would be my well worn leather belt I normally use with casual jeans.. it is soft, worn and a dear old friend :)

    • Posted June 7, 2012 at 7:41 pm by Jenny | Permalink

Thanks so much Mrs. C! I’m really into the hi-low trend. I think I have 3 or 4 skirts/dresses, so I think I’ve hit my limit!

WOW I love your outfit but especially the skirt! So sad they dont deliver to the US

    • Posted June 8, 2012 at 12:10 pm by Jenny | Permalink

Thanks so much! Too bad, they don’t deliver to Canada either. I purchased this skirt at a department store here called The Bay. I’m not sure where in the US you can find Vero Moda, but I know that ASOS has many pieces on their website (just not this skirt).

Oh my gosh, I loooove that blouse on you! I just managed to score it myself as a sale popback on the J. Crew website – so excited for it! That color is delicious. By the way, if you’re into J. Crew, I run a blog with full scans of catalogs past and present – check it out!
