Flamingo Encounter

A pair of flamingos lived at the resort we were vacationing at in the Dominican Republic last August.  I would visit my new little friends each day, just to sit and watch them in their colorful, graceful beauty.  One day I guess I got too close, and one of my so-called “friends” hissed, violently flapped its wings, and was ready to attack.  I screamed, ran in terror, and watched from a distance for the rest of the week.  Looking back, the encounter must have looked pretty funny to onlookers.  Going forward, I’ll be sticking to flamingo prints instead of the real thing.

    Jenny, thanks for sharing that lovely lil story with your flamingo friends, kinda funny :-) . That animal print shirt ads a playful touch to your whole outfit, great match with that black skirt and those cute flats. That belt elevates your lovely outfit. Great post again dear :-)

    PS: You look so small without heels :-) . In Germany we say to small person “Klein aber fein” which means literally small but fine/small is beautiful” Thought I share this idiom with you as it crossed my mind when I saw you :-)

      Ha ha, thanks Ani! I love that saying! Yes, I’m only 5’2″, and unfortunately, I wasn’t one of those lucky short people that was blessed with long, skinny legs. :)
