Brush Strokes

Peplum Top: H&M. Skirt: Club Monaco. Belt: H&M. Shoes: Jimmy Choo. Handbag: Chanel. Rings: BCBG, Ardene. Necklace: Forever 21.  Sunglasses: Chanel.

This Club Monaco skirt is at least 8 years old…maybe older, but I love it as much today as I did when I bought it. With it’s pencil shape and black & white print, it’s a classic piece that will never go out of style.  Do you have older pieces in your wardrobe that you just know you’ll never get rid of?

So true, Club Monaco style has definitely changed. It’s a little more muted and soft now, but they do have great classic pieces.

That skirt is timeless…love it! I have the same on some of my Theory blazers…one in navy blue and one in white…I love their fit, their styling. Bought them in 2004 and haven’t regretted since ;)
    You look amazing!

Thanks Martha! Yes, Theory is one of those brands that makes timeless pieces. I’m surprised I’ve never bought anything from them, but I really want a Theory blazer or suit.

Oh my gosh, you look adorable Jenny, so classy and elegant, adore it so much. Black and whites are classic and you did a great job pairing the stroked pencil skirt with the gorgeous peplum. When I go to H&M they never have nice peplums there. Lovely finish touch with the black necklace and the emphasis with the belt. Beautiful from head to toe :-)
