Ladies Who Lunch

Cardigan: BP via Nordstrom. Dress: H&M. Handbag: J.Crew Edie Bag. Shoes: Boutique 9. Belt: H&M. Watch: Michael Kors. Necklaces: Forever 21. Bracelet: Henri Bendel. Ring: Kate Spade. Sunglasses: Chanel.

 

Feeling very “ladies who lunch” in this full-on lilac monochromatic outfit.  My inspiration came from my new J.Crew purse, which I finally purchased in NYC after I had been eyeing it for months.  I just love the gorgeous lavender hue and classic boxy shape.  Would you wear a monochromatic look like this?

      Thanks Megan! It’s actually two of the same necklace paired together. I wanted a chunky pearl necklace, but couldn’t find one, so I just bought 2!

      Thanks so much Miranda! I’m wearing Rimmel London. It’s called Steel Grey, but it’s a heather purple shade. I had been looking for a pretty purple shade for quite sometime but couldn’t find one in my go to brands (OPI, Essie). I’ve never purchased Rimmel before, but it was on sale at the drug store for $2 and the colour looked really pretty, so I thought I would give it a try. I actually like it a lot. The brush is wide and flat, and the polish goes on very nicely. The colour seems to last a while too.

    I definitely do love a monochromatic look! The dress is beautiful, I don’t think I’ve seen that at our local H&M. The bag is stunning too, I am glad you were able to get it, since J. Crew bags move rather quickly!
