Sequins and Suede

Top: H&M. Skirt: Danier. Handbag: Balenciaga. Shoes: Jimmy Choo (similar here). All Jewellery: Forever 21. Sunglasses: Chanel.

 

This luxe combination of sequins and suede instantly added a little glamour to my daytime attire.  A midi length is not one I buy often, but I just love the super soft suede, form fitting shape, and feminine frill of this skirt.  I’m curious. . .do you wear midi length skirts?

      Weird, mine are the most comfortable shoes ever! These are from several years ago, and I bought similar styles in so many colours and different heel heights (brown, black, silver, gold and bronze-all on sale mind you!). My feet hurt in almost ALL shoes, but these don’t hurt at all! This style is called Jasmin (4″ heel) or Jag (3″ heel) (I have both), and a few years back I think they stopped making the 4″ heel and changed the 3″ to the name India. I think they may have changed the shape slightly. I don’t own the newer style, but maybe that’s what you bought? That sucks though, because when you spend good money on something, you want to be able to wear it!

    While I love the length (b/c it shows my only skinny area, my calves haha) I can’t help but wonder is the suede material too warm in the summer time?

      Thanks! Surprisingly, this skirt is very light weight and definitely works in the summer. Plus, my office is air conditioned and it feels like I’m in an icebox half the time! I usually look dressed for winter in the middle of the summer! :)

    I just love this Jenny!!!! The different textures of are fantastic together and I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a suede skirt in this shape. The colors have a richness to them as well. Really beautiful!
