Cardigan: BP. Dress: Club Monaco. Handbag: Marc Jacobs. Shoes: Jimmy Choo. Hat: Le Chateau. Belt: BCBG. Watch: Michael Kors. Rings: Kate Spade, Ardene. Bracelets: Kate Spade, BCBG, J.Crew, Forever 21. Sunglasses: Chanel.

 

Say hello to my little friends. . . Pigeon #1 and Pigeon #2.  I usually compare pigeons to rats with wings, but these fellows were definitely cute little camera hogs.  Maybe they were attracted to this very lady-like, Mad Men-esque dress I’m wearing.  Okay, so I’m sure these were not fashion savvy pigeons, but I really love the style of this dress, so just let me pretend.

      Thanks Patricia! The belt is from a few years ago, but they did come out with the same belt in a dull silver/gold combo this year, which I also bought. That one might still be available.

    Horserace was the first think that came to my mind when I saw that super chic outfit. White, gold and yellow is always such a pretty combo for the summer. Lovely sloppy hat. And you have your hair curly/wavy. Jenny, next time try a side bun with that hat, I ‘ll guarantee that looks very elegant :-) .

    That is so crazy! I thought the “rats with wings” was just a Southern thing. I remember my mom calling them that when I was growing up and I would try to get close enough to touch them in parking lots!

    Despite the winged rats, you look majorly glamorous! I love the back of the dress :)

      Ha ha, I only heard that a few years ago because my Man was telling me a story about how he saw a pigeon fly into a man’s face walking down the street! He then said how gross pigeons were and they were basically rats with wings! Too funny! :) As always, thank you so much Katie!
