Dress: Topshop. Sweater: Old Navy. Clutch: Marc by Marc Jacobs. Shoes: Nine West. Necklace: Forever 21. Rings: Kate Spade, H&M. Sunglasses: Chanel.

 

The last time I wore a sweater around my waist was probably in the 90′s.  It’s a look I never thought I would wear again.  I snapped these photos in a hurry (to minimize the awkward stares from the many people outside on this beautiful day), so I regretfully forgot to take any side or back view photos.  If I had, you would have seen that this sweater looks as though it was actually made to be worn with this dress this way.  I think you would have agreed that I really had no choice but to relive my teenage years by wearing it around my waist.

    Jenny!! I kid you not, I tied a sweater around my waist yesterday and my husband said “really?” but I took photos anyway. I get in my car and Ace of Base “I saw the sign” starts blaring. Pure 90s music at its best. Meant to be? I think so :-) I love this color on you!

      Oh thank you so much Ani! Ha ha, I schedule my posts in advance but I am actually up pretty early on weekends. I think my body has adjusted to waking up at 5:30am everyday for work so it’s hard for me to sleep in on weekends! :)

    Wow. That color blue is amazing. I can’t believe how brilliant it is. I love the dress–The fit and length are very flattering on you. This might be one of my favorite outfits on you.

    PS. I can just picture you saying, “Hurry up and take the picture!” I always feel like a goof standing there waiting for my husband to focus. :-)

      Thanks so much Amy! I like my hair curly, but I don’t have a proper curling iron, so I have to do it with my flat iron. I usually do a horrible job so I don’t do it this way often. I definitely need to get a curling iron!
