Cozy Stripes

Cardigan: Twik via Simons. Top: H&M. Skirt: ASOS. Shoes: Nine West. Necklace: Stella & Dot. Rings: Kate Spade Love Notes Bow Ring, H&M, Ardene. Sunglasses: Chanel.

 

I have a love/hate relationship with Fall.  I LOVE the slightly cooler temps, being able to wear cozy sweaters with bare legs, and layering with scarves, cardigans and light jackets.  I HATE that it means Winter is coming.  For now, I will try not to worry about Winter, and just enjoy dressing for this cool, crisp weather.  I will definitely have fun playing with my warmer wardrobe and trying to create new outfits by pairing summer pieces (like this skirt) with warmer items (like this sweater).  Are you looking forward to dressing for Fall?

    Oh my goodness… I need that cardigan in my life!! But I am very upset…that site only ships in Canada :( Why must you toy with my emotions like that?

    I totally agree. Fall can be beautiful with the changing colours and leaves etc but knowing that winter is on it’s tail is so depressing. I hope this year we have another mild winter.

    Your outfit looks very nautical : ) You need to be cruising about the lake on a yacht.

    I’m definitely happier in more tropical weather but i appreciate that the varying seasons give us the opportunity to be more experimental with our wardrobe just like you’ve done pairing bright and warm pieces.
    I like the wider stripes on the thinner ones and those gold buttons make the right statement!

    I used to tell myself (esp with the HOT LA weekend) that I’m totally not ready for fall dressing but this morning, I got excited while getting out my Fall wear out of storage. I think I’m ready now….hahaha!!

    Honestly, I think is probably the most fashion friendly season :)

    How cute is that nautical comfy sweater? The gold buttons make it so chic. Love the combo of navy blue striped tops with yellow skirts, looks so refreshing and stylish. I love fall because of the nice scenery outside, especially where I live but thinking about this coming winter makes me really sad. It’s supposed to be a really hard winter this year- such a bummer :-(
