Falling for Fall

Jacket: J.Crew. Dress: BCBG. Shoes: Joan & David (loving these Anne Klein’s too). Rings: Coach, Ardene. Watch: Michael Kors. Braceletes: Stella & Dot, J.Crew, Forever 21. Handbag: Balenciaga. Scarf: Unknown. Sunglasses: Chanel. Nail Polish: OPI “Just a Little Rosti at This”.

I am truly loving Fall’s beautiful and rich colours, textures and prints.

Zara Jacket Update:  After some begging, pleading and reasoning, Zara finally agreed to take back the tweed sweater jacket.  It wasn’t an easy process, but I’m definitely satisfied.

Thanks Amy! I’m wearing OPI “Just a Little Rosti at This”. I tried looking it up online, and I think it’s an older colour because I don’t see it on the OPI website. I just bought it last week, but it may have been old stock at the Salon. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this colour! I may go back to the Salon to buy another bottle since it seems like it’s discontinued.

Gorgeous outfit! I like how you rolled your denim jacket sleeve up. I finally found my denim jacket from Kohl’s. It had a little bit of stretch which is what I was looking for.

    Loving the hint of leopard!

Thank goodness the Zara situation is resolved sis ,can’t understand why it was a complicated process, with my serbian passion I would have told them sth ….boy ;-)
That’s what I love about fall the rich colours, the more thicker textures and layering. What got my immediate attention was t his gorgeous burgundy nailpolish, it just loos so beautiful (by the way you have so pretty long fingers and nice hands :-) …). You would be a fantastic piano player :-) Also love the combo of the animal print and burgundy probably one of my favourite matches for this fall. The denim jacket looks super cute with the dress and the scarf. You rock it my dear :-) I have one other question on you setting the camera. I like that blurry effect int he background and it supposed to be blurry when I use the “potrait function” but it doesn’t do it. What is your secret? ;-)

    • Posted September 26, 2012 at 12:03 pm by Jenny | Permalink

Ani, you are just so sweet! I searched long and hard for the perfect burgundy nail polish shade and finally found this colour. I do love it. Ha ha, too funny that you say I should play piano…I played it for many years growing up. Sadly, I stopped playing, and now have lost that skill. I will e-mail you tonight after work to give you more details on the settings I use to take photos. My explanation might be very lengthy. :)

    • Posted September 27, 2012 at 7:42 am by Ani | Permalink

You should start playing again Jenny, the piano is such a beautiful instrument and I doubt you lost the skill, probably takes some practice to get into it but your never forget skills like that, its like riding the bike :-) I always dreamt of a white piano and playing with my own kids on it, maybe one day? :-) I used to play the piano too :-D

I am looking forward to your camera setting tips :-) . T hank you Jenny, you are just so sweet :-)

      • Posted September 27, 2012 at 9:35 am by Jenny | Permalink

You are right Ani, I’m sure I could pick it up again, but I’ve definitely lost my passion for it. It’s one of those things that I would love to do, but don’t have the time or motivation to dedicate to it. So sorry I couldn’t send you the camera details last night, but I’ll definitely send it tonight.

Thanks so much Meredith! I agree, the Zara stores here in Toronto are actually known for their terrible customer service. I could literally write a book with all of the bad experiences I’ve had there. Don’t ask my why I keep spending my money at their stores.
