As I turn yet another year older today, I thought it was important to remind myself not to take life too seriously. Growing up, my Dad’s saying around our house was, “Don’t sweat the small stuff.” It was only a few years ago that I finally realized what that meant, and now I try to live my life by that rule. Yes, Dad. . .you were right (and NO gloating allowed tonight when you read this. It is my birthday after all).
