Before last winter, I hated fur (both faux and real). Oh boy, was I naive. I’m now slightly obsessed with faux fur, and I would wear it year round if I could. It’s so warm and cozy, and really takes any outfit up a notch. I especially love fur collars, scarves and vests. I’ve been eyeing this black vest from Banana Republic for a few weeks on their website, and can’t wait to try it on in-store. Are you a faux (or real) fur fan?

I can’t wait to wear my black fur vest…I don’t actually know if it’s real or faux but it’s super soft haha (my mom gave it to me and I just don’t remember. I THINK it’s faux tho?) I’m already starting to look for cute fall work outfits…I think I need more pants. haha

Great vest! I have a faux fur shrug, which is more of a piece for wearing over something dressy when it’s chilly. But I rarely have the occasion to wear it. I want to find a fur vest sort of like this that I can get away with wearing with jeans. I love how you’re wearing it too. So right…takes it up a notch

I am not a faux or real furn person…it’s just not cold enough here in Southern CA. I do have 1 suit with a faux fur collar that I can remove the collar. I get so many compliments on it when I wear it.

Seriously I HATE with a passion real fur…but I the faux kind is fine. I refuse to get the dreaded Canada Goose parka because of the fur. That’s how much I dislike real fur.

Looks cute though lol I own a couple of fuax fur vest too but I always get annoyed of them shedding all over my car seats, do you have the same problem?

Im so with you on fur… although i’m defo a real fur girl… faux fur for me is just fake and I don’t do anything fake in fashion. Faux fur is worse for the general environment than real fur anyway and as long as you keep to reputable furriers and steer clear of asian fur… real fur is so the way to go in my eyes… nothing makes me feel more feminine or cosy… defo a bit of the cruella di villa factor with it but I am happy to admit I LOVE it! Adore your blog and can’t wait to see your looks into winter as you’ve been an inspiration to me through summer!
