Denim on Denim Remix

I’ve worn a version of this outfit at least a dozen times, including in the post Autumn Air.  I mix it up with different accessories, layers and shoes, but the foundation remains the same. . .my Old Navy chambray shirt and my super comfortable H&M stretch jeans.  It’s an easy look that I always feel comfortable wearing.  Do you have a go-to look?

 

 

Rain, Rain, Go Away

Yet another rainy day.  The effects of Hurricane Sandy hit Toronto late last night and early this morning.  I hope everyone on the East Coast is safe and sound.  Despite this nasty weather, I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far!

I think Mother Nature has her seasons confused.  Spring is supposed to be rainy, not Fall!  Toronto had several rainy days last week, a weekend of non-stop showers, and now an upcoming full week of rain in the forecast.  I’m thinking all of this rain is the perfect excuse to go shopping for a cute umbrella and some new wellies!

The insanely talented Tim Walker photographed this stunning editorial for W Magazine featuring Jennifer Lawrence.  Tim Walker is hands down my favourite fashion photographer.  His distinct photography is romantic, elaborate, theatrical and extravagant.  He routinely uses unique and interesting props that evoke a feeling of fantasy.  Tim Walker’s website features a wonderful selection of his photography, and he has a new book coming out in November which is already on my Christmas wish list.
