Dress: Urban Outfitters (similar style). Booties: Nine West (similar). Handbag: Balenciaga. Hat: Le Chateau. Scarf: Unknown. Ring: The Bay. Bracelets: Forever 21 cuff, H&M.

 

Surprisingly, before last November, I never owned a pair of booties.  I know. . .it’s shocking!  At only 5’2″, I thought I was too short to wear a pair of ankle height boots.  I loved the style so much that I took a chance and bought these Nine West suede booties.  Well, I was instantly hooked.  I bought a black suede pair a month later.  I’m in the market for a few new booties this season, particularly a black leather pair, and perhaps a colourful or wedge pair also.  I will post some of my favorite options tomorrow.  Are you going to rock the bootie this season?

    That’s pretty rare that you post urban/vintage outfits, I like that side of fashion on you as well. Those boots look so chic and trendy on you and the blue hat gives your outfit that polish and finish touch. Love it how you incorporated the burgundy scarf in that checked dress.     You know I am..still wearing my open toe ones…these are perfection! I love the skinny heel! I just bought a pair of tall Manolo’s that remind me of the new Givenchy boot (you know the one’s?)..I can’t wait to wear them..ahhh!!!!!

    I bought some black suede booties last year that I absolutely LOVE, but they hurt my feet so I’m definitely in the market for some new ones. I love the color of yours, they’d go with everything! I also really love your hat. I want to try hats this winter and yours is just darling!

    Jenny – I’m 5’2 aswell, I just bought my first pair of platform ankle boots last week. Like you I didnt think I could rock them. Non platform ones aren’t as comfy plus this style elongates your legs..
