Plum Drop

October 15, 2012

Dress: RW&Co. Necklace: H&M (recent). Shoes: Kate Spade. Handbag: Chanel. Sunglasses: Chanel.

 

A simple outfit to start the week, with a plum coloured drop waist dress and a statement necklace.  Top it off with pretty shoes and a classic bag, and I feel lady-like and put-together.  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

      Aww, thanks so much Amy! I love the trend too, but it was so hard for me to find one that flattered my short, curvy body. Finally found this pretty one from RW&Co!

      Thanks so much FF! I actually had this dress paired with my leopard print shoes,but changed my mind because I thought they competed too much with the necklace. Leopard and plum or burgundy is a great combination!

      Ha ha ha, just an FYI if you do go looking for it, the necklace is actually shorter than it appears here. I added a ribbon to the back to extend the length. Thanks Alice!

        I went to my local H &M and they didn’t have it. I have 2 more locals stores to try :) Thank you for the tip! I would love to see how you lengthen it with ribbon.

          No problem. So sorry, I probably should have also mentioned that it’s H&M Trend. Good luck finding it! I can definitely e-mail you a picture but I just knotted a black ribbon to one end and tied the other side with a bow. I might go to a craft store and buy a black chain instead. One end of the necklace has a hook, so I’ll just have to secure the necklace on the other end, then simply hook it to wear it.
