Prep Time

Jacket: BCBG (non-leather version here). Top: Old Navy (similar). Skirt: Necessary Objects. Watch: thanks to Daniel Wellington. Bracelet: Henri Bendel. Shoes: Boutique 9. Handbag: Balenciaga. Ring: BCBG. Sunglasses: Chanel.

 

I struggle to define my style into words, but my best attempt at a description would be feminine classic with elements of prep and glam.  I’m not attracted to a particular style per se, but rather I’m attracted to all things I find pretty.  When the generous team at Daniel Wellington offered to let me choose one of their classic timepieces, I was thrilled. Their preppy, classic, sleek watches match my style perfectly!

    I don’t honestly think I could describe my style in only a few words…it’s hard to narrow it down! Blue is such an awesome color on you–and you can never go wrong with a striped skirt!

      Ha ha ha, thanks Amy! Well, I’m originally from Windsor, which is right across the border from Detroit. I go home almost every 2nd or 3rd weekend, so Ohio really isn’t that much further! We were supposed to go to Cedar Point this year for Halloweekends (an annual tradition for my Man and me) but unfortunately, we won’t be able to make it down there this month. I’m so bummed!! :)

    This is a lovely combination. I think it can be hard to put your personal style into words – I know I definitely struggle when every someone asks me to do it. I would say your style in classic and feminine with a modern edge through accessories and statement pieces. I always love seeing what you put together!
