I had my eye on this gorgeous J.Crew Symphony Coat for a few months, and just recently picked it up on super sale.  This vibrant fuchsia stunner is one of those pieces that makes me feel like a million bucks.  It doesn’t get much more feminine than this.  The beauty of the colour was really hard to capture in photos, and the coat is actually a much more vibrant and deep pink in person.  I love this coat so much that I just ordered it in Emerald Green as well.  What items in your wardrobe make you feel extra special?

    Oh that belt again, lovely lovely lovely! How are you feeling with the healthy eating? Not that I could tell when you posted about carrying a few extra pounds but you look very trim here already :-)

      Aww, thanks so much Louise! Thanks for asking about my “challenge” too! Well, I’ve been sick for the last two weeks. . .a pesky cold that just won’t go away, so I think I’m not as hungry when I’m sick. I can’t really smell or taste, so food just doesn’t seem as yummy. I guess the one positive is that I haven’t craved any sweets in the past week either. I’ve actually stuck to healthy food over the last week but I haven’t started exercising yet (also because I haven’t been feeling well), but I guess it’s one step at a time. Thanks again Louise!

    I had to come back and tell you I’m in love with those Boutique 9 pumps. OMG, they come in every color under the sun! Are they comfortable? I’ve never heard of that brand before.

      Ha ha ha, thanks so much Renita! Boutique 9 is made by Nine West and I’m a HUGE fan of both brands. These shoes are insanely comfortable HOWEVER Boutique 9 made this identical shoe with a small hidden platform in the front (this colour doesn’t have the platform) but called the style Justine as well. Personally, I found the patent Justine’s with the platform were not very comfortable. It’s really hard to tell which one you are ordering online because they don’t make a distinction and it’s really hard to see. If you go to the Nordstrom website and look at the carmel patent, silver glitter, and red pairs, you can sort of tell that that sole is a little thicker. I believe those are the ones with the platform. I do however have the Justine with the hidden platform, but in suede, and those are insanely comfortable as well. Sorry if that wasn’t much help!

    Very striking indeed, I adore bright colours, although my career does not make allowances for wearing it to the office. This really is a gorgeous coat! Nice ensemble!

      Aww, thanks FF! Yes, I do consider myself lucky in that I work in marketing so I do have a little more creative freedom when it comes to dressing for the office. I am however the only marketing person in the office, so I think I sometimes get weird looks from some of my co-workers that aren’t really into fashion. :) But, we are a very small office also, so I think it’s a little more relaxed than some others anyways.

    Oh my goodness, Jenny, I LOVE this look! I can’t get over how gorgeous the whole ensemble is! I currently own only one winter coat, and I got it from J. Crew in 2003. So, I’ve been on the hunt for a new one and this beautiful pink one is very, very tempting! Gorgeous!

    I was just telling eric weeks ago that I really need a vibrant coloured coat in magenta and emerald green in my wardrobe Jenny. They add so much personaliy to one style.
