Coat: J.Crew. Handbag: Coach. Scarf: H&M. Sweater: Club Monaco. Jeans: H&M. Shoes: Joan & David (similar). Sunglasses: Chanel.

 

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  My weekend was ultra boring but absolutely perfect.  Sunday, we stayed in bed watching movies all morning and finally got around to watching Argo. . . wow, what a fabulous movie.  Even though I knew how it ended, it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.  My one complaint would be how it drastically minimized the important role that Canadians played in aiding in the safe return of the Americans, however, this truly was a fantastic movie.  Have you seen Argo?  Did you love it as much as I did?  How was your weekend?

    I went to the theater on Saturday to see Argo, but I was too late and it was sold out. :( So at that point I knew it had to win best picture since I didn’t get to see it haha. But whenever I do see it, I’ll keep the Canadians in mind!

    Oh, and I love your emerald!

      Ha ha ha, thanks Sarah! Yes, the movie definitely downplayed our role. In actuality, the Canadian government played a key part in the rescue. Oh well, at least the movie was super entertaining! :)

    I couldn’t agree more about Argo. I mean it’s great as a piece of fiction if they want to change the story that much. Sad really since now no one in the US or anywhere else will know how it really went down.

    Love how the green goes so well together Jenny.

    We saw Argo and it had me at the edge of my seat from the moment the move started. I think that’s the only movie I saw that was nominated. I want to see Silver Lining Playbook – heard that was really good too.

    I loved Argo too! It was a great film in my opinion. Though, I have to say on my end, I didn’t get the impression that you did with Canada. For me, it seemed that without them the Americans could not have been held safely or made it out. But, I also don’t know the full story on that but just so you know. heh. =)

    I haven’t seen Argo yet and I can’t believe that I haven’t! I want to see it so bad – it looks amazing, and obviously it won the Oscar last night so it MUST be great! Beautiful outfit as always – LOVE the heels! I’m dying for some leopard print heels!
