Snow Day

Happy Valentine’s Day!  Do you have any fun or romantic plans for tonight?  Every year, Justin makes me a delicious Valentine’s dinner (since he’s the cook in the family).  Restaurants typically offer limited menus with inflated prices on Valentine’s Day, so Justin and I usually do a pre- or post-Valentine’s dinner at a restaurant on the weekend instead.

 

These photos were taken last weekend after the big snow storm.  Friday was a snow day for me, as it was for many others in the Greater Toronto Area.  I live in downtown Toronto but work in a suburb 30 minutes away, so driving to work in the morning was out of the question.  We spent the day watching the chaos on the streets below from the warmth of our apartment.  We had a good chuckle watching several people actually skiing down the streets of the city, definitely a sight you don’t see everyday.

 

I hope you and your sweetheart have a wonderful day together.  To all the single ladies (and gents), I hope you are doing something to spoil yourself today!

    Happy V-day Jenny, we already had a nice dinner with my hubby yesterday (don’t like when the restaurant price goes double only because of the date with no changes on the menu) and today decided to stay home in a romantic atmosphere:)
