Flirty Blue Mini

Zara Floral blouse (old) – Love this white ASOS floral shirt too  //  t+j Designs mini skirt (c/o)  //  Kate Spade heels (old) – LOVE the updated lace version  //  Chanel handbag (similar)  //  Gucci sunglasses

I’ve noticed that I tend to go through year-long obsession phases with skirt styles (or perhaps it’s just that I’m falling victim to the current trends).  A few years ago, all I was buying was pencil skirts.  Then last summer, I couldn’t get enough of mini skater skirts, and this past year has been all about the midi.  t+j Designs recently launched their own collection of beautiful skirts, and I was immediately drawn to their pink pleated midi.  After deciding that I should probably add a little more variety back into my wardrobe, I decided to choose this flirty mini skirt in this gorgeous shade of turquoise.  Sadly, these photos do not do this skirt justice.  The vibrant teal hue was very hard to capture, but it really is a stunner in person.

New In Town

Zara palm print jacket – old  (identical from Oasap)  //  Jacob dress – old (similar from Kate Spade)  //  Vince Camuto Fontanela Heels (c/o)  //  Chanel handbag  //  Daniel Wellington watch (c/o) – use code ‘crazystylelove’ for 15% off until Sept. 15 at  //  Stella & Dot ring  //  Gucci sunglasses

I was pretty excited to hear that Vince Camuto recently opened it’s first Canadian location in Toronto.  Even more exciting is that Vince Camuto himself will be at the flagship Yorkdale store tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 5 from 12-2pm for their grand opening event.  Everyone is invited to meet this footwear visionary, sip on some light refreshments and listen to some DJ beats.

I’ve partnered with Vince Camuto to style three of my favorite pieces from their Fall footwear collection, now in stores.  I’ve had my eye on these gorgeous suede cage heels for quite some time now, so naturally these were my first pick.  The scalloped detail finishing at the ankle, the perfectly shaped stiletto heel, the open toe, and the surprisingly comfortable fit are all reasons why I’m in love with these shoes.  Stay tuned over the next few weeks to see my other two top picks.

Mint and Cobalt Part 2

Topshop ruffle top (old)  //  ASOS floral midi skirt  (love this black version too)  //  Nine West martina heels  //  Chanel handbag  //  Baublebar crystal mason ring  //  Forever 21 stone ring (old)  //  Gucci sunglasses  //  Sonix palm print phone case

I first paired mint green with cobalt blue a few months ago (take a peak here), and have since loved this unique color combination.  These aren’t overtly feminine colors, but the ruffles and floral print on this outfit definitely add that super girly touch.  I’ll certainly be wearing a lot more of this pretty pairing.
