Crazy Love for . . . Three Floor

Words cannot express how much I LOVE the new Three Floor collection. Flirty, feminine and fun is all I can say. Three Floor is a relatively new brand, having launched in November 2011, but it has quickly become one of my favorite labels, especially for dresses.
Three Floor is only available for purchase online, and can be found at ASOS and Shopbop. I have a few dresses in my shopping baskets, and would love to hear from any of you ladies who own a Three Floor piece. How does the sizing run, and what are your thoughts on the quality? I’ll definitely fill you in on my opinions once I decide on which of these beauties to buy first. Happy Saturday!

NAFFEM Style Lab: The Video
Yesterday I posted about my fabulous NAFFEM Style Lab experience. We were lucky enough to have a videographer follow us around throughout the day to capture the event on film. Here is a quick video clip giving you a glimpse into the day and also showcasing some of my top fur picks from the expo. Please excuse my awkward demeanor. . . put a video camera in front of me and I freeze! I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

NAFFEM Style Lab
As I mentioned last week, back in April I had the pleasure of attending the North American Fur & Fashion Exposition in Montreal (NAFFEM). I was honoured to be asked by the Fur Council of Canada to be 1 of 9 bloggers to participate in their NAFFEM Style Lab.
We had the opportunity to visit with over 200 fur exhibitors to see, touch, play with and try on all of their amazing fur coats, scarves, vests, hats, shoes, necklaces, handbags and pretty much anything else you can think of. We learned about the North American and International fur trades, and saw just how much attention, work and detail goes into making these spectacular fur fashions.

We had the nearly impossible task of selecting our “Dream Fur” from all of the amazing pieces at the expo. We were then asked to style a model wearing our “Dream Fur”. This was my first “styling” experience, and it turns out, styling is not nearly as easy as it looks. Looking back at the photo, I would have definitely chosen a different outfit for my model, but I guess it wasn’t that bad for my first attempt. The fur was just so gorgeous that it really didn’t matter what else my model was wearing.

{ The model wearing my “dream fur” and the outfit I styled. This gorgeous coat is from Nobel Furs, and is a grooved, sheared beaver blazer with jeweled details. }

Thank you to NAFFEM for this wonderful experience!

Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
Justin and I have been living in Toronto for over 6 years now, and we still have so many well known sites in the City that we have yet to visit. We crossed one of those places off of our list last week . . . High Park, Toronto’s largest public park.
I’ve heard that the prettiest time to visit High Park is the one week of the year, in early May, when the cherry trees are in full bloom. The park attracts thousands of visitors during this week, almost all of which are armed with their cameras, ready to capture the beautiful cherry blossoms. There were so many people around the cherry trees when we went, that we regretfully didn’t even capture a photo of them. We did, however, shoot these photos around the rest of the gorgeous park grounds. As you can see in the photos, the park is simply stunning. We’ll definitely be heading back sometime this summer for a fun picnic in the park.
