Date Night

Sweater: Zara (similar). Skirt: Zara. Boots: Aldo. Rings: Stella & Dot, H&M. Clutch: Balenciaga. Sunglasses: ZeroUV.
Happy Monday Everyone! With Valentine’s Day coming up on Thursday, the lovely and sweet Cami (blogger over at Olivia Moone) and I thought we would share some date night outfits incorporating one of the season’s big trends, leather (although I believe leather is a seasonless wardrobe staple). I wore this outfit out for dinner with my Man and some friends a few weeks ago, but was unable to photograph it, so I thought it would be great to showcase today. This faux leather top is a go-to in my wardrobe and I’ve worn it at least twice a week since I purchased it. Paired with these thigh high boots, I thought it made for a fun, flirty outfit. Cami’s looks beautiful wearing her “fits-like-a-glove” leather pants, perfect for date night. Head over to Olivia Moone to see more of Cami’s fabulous look!
P.S. I’m excited to share that I have a fun little giveaway coming up tomorrow. If you love coffee table books and Kate Spade (hint, hint), check back tomorrow.

Colourful Accessories

Handbag: Coach Penny. Scarf: H&M. Shoes: H&M. Gloves: via Macys. Jacket: J.Crew (similar). Jeans: H&M. Sunglasses: Chanel.
TGIF! I’m honored to be guest posting for the lovely Meredith over at Create That Outfit today. Meredith is the queen of colour, so I thought this outfit was an appropriate choice to showcase on her blog. I wore this outfit running errands around town last weekend, and I can’t wait for this weekend to begin. I’ll be attending my first co-ed baby shower tomorrow, which I’m thinking will actually be a lot of fun. How will you be spending your weekend?

Mirrored Lens

Coat: H&M. Top: H&M. Skirt: Topshop (similar). Tights: Hue. Boots: Nine West. Gloves: Danier. Hat: Aldo. Sunglasses: ZeroUV. Handbag: Chanel.
I’ve had my eye on a pair of mirrored lens Ray Ban aviators for a while now. I wasn’t sure if they would work with my wardrobe, so I wasn’t ready to make that kind of investment without being 100% positive that they wouldn’t end up sitting in a drawer, unworn. I’ve seen a few bloggers wearing similar sunglasses from ZeroUV so I decided to check them out. I ordered 4 pairs of mirrored aviators (all different coloured lenses) and the price came to only $30! There is a “cool girl” quality to mirrored lens sunglasses that I thought I wouldn’t be able to pull off but I actually quite like them. I still want a pair of Ray Bans, but these will definitely do the trick until I’m ready to buy the real deal.

Grey Days

Coat: Zara. Top: Improvd. Skirt: Club Monaco. Clutch: Balenciaga. Boots: unknown. Rings: Stella & Dot, H&M. Sunglasses: Chanel.
Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! Did you all watch Beyonce’s AH-MAZ-ING Superbowl halftime show? Wow, she killed it!
Now, on to the outfit. . .I bought this coat a few months ago, but the rest of the pieces I’m wearing are all several years old. The Improvd wrap top I’m wearing is a really cool piece. It can actually also be worn upside down with a slip underneath and it looks like a dress. The boots I purchased in NYC many years ago from some random store we stumbled upon while strolling through Soho. The label on the shoe is worn out so I can’t remember the brand name, but I do know it’s a brand I have not heard of. I spent years searching for the perfect black high boot and got so lucky I came across these. I have pretty short legs with relatively big feet for my height ( size 8 ), so it’s extremely difficult to find boots that fit my calf and legs properly. It will be a sad, sad day when these wear out.
