Ahh, these photos bring up major vacation withdrawal.  Justin and I had such a fantastic time in Scottsdale, Arizona last week.  I was there for a marketing course for work, while Justin joined me to soak up some desert sun.  Our little saying all week was that I was “the fool in school, while he was cool by the pool”.  I did get my fair share of pool side lounging in though, and I was definitely able to enjoy the 90 degree weather.  Oh Arizona, I sure do miss you.

Some of you may have seen on Instagram that I’m currently in Scottsdale, Arizona.  I’m pretty lucky that my work sent me here to take a marketing course.  Justin has never been to Arizona, so he tagged along with me, and while I’m stuck in a meeting room all day, he’s sipping margaritas by the pool and enjoying the desert air.  Okay, I can’t complain. . . we tacked on a few extra days to the trip so I could enjoy the beautiful weather and sightseeing too.  I’ll share some pics soon.

My daily make-up routine has pretty much been the same for the last 15 years.  It consists of full-coverage concealer, pressed powder, pink blush, a little eye brow filler and always, I mean always, a curl of my lashes.  My eye lashes point downwards which makes my eyes look heavy and tired.  Curling my lashes to keep my eyes bright and looking awake is essential in my daily routine.
