These photos were taken this morning before we headed out to run errands, and this is actually what I’m still wearing right at this very moment.  A warm, casual outfit for a cold, wintery day.  I hope your weekend plans are a lot more exciting than mine.  I’ll be sitting on the couch all weekend working on the blog, watching movies, and cleaning the apartment.  How about you?  Any fun plans?  Hope you have a great one!

Photo Fun

 Crazy-Style-Love-Instagram

I’ve been having a lot of fun with Instagram lately, and I thought I would share some of the photos I’ve taken with those of you not on the platform.  Back before I moved to Toronto (6 years ago this month…wow, how time flies), I was really into crafts, scrapbooking and making cards.  I love being crafty, and don’t get me started on the joy I get out of wrapping presents…it might just be my favourite thing to do.  Well, I have all of these craft supplies and figured if I didn’t have time to create things anymore, then I could at least use the materials as props and backdrops for some cute photos.  I’ve been having a blast taking these pics, and it totally satisfies my urge to get creative and crafty but without the time commitment.  I hope you enjoy these photos, and I hope you all have a great weekend!

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  My weekend was ultra boring but absolutely perfect.  Sunday, we stayed in bed watching movies all morning and finally got around to watching Argo. . . wow, what a fabulous movie.  Even though I knew how it ended, it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.  My one complaint would be how it drastically minimized the important role that Canadians played in aiding in the safe return of the Americans, however, this truly was a fantastic movie.  Have you seen Argo?  Did you love it as much as I did?  How was your weekend?

A big congratulations to Melissa from Oh, My Darling blog. . .you are the winner of the Kate Spade New York “Things We Love” Book!  I would like to give a huge thank you to Melissa and everyone else who entered this contest.  I feel so thankful that you all take the time to visit my little corner of the internet and I just love finding ways to show my appreciation.

Now, on to this outfit. . .I’ve been on a bit of a shoe buying binge lately, and these Boutique 9 “Sally” ombre heels are one of my newest acquisitions.  Unfortunately for my Canadian and International friends, I believe these shoes are exclusive to Nine West stores (and online) only in the United States.  They also come in a beautiful pink-y coral ombre as well.  I sent my parents on a mission to pick these up for me last month when they were shopping in Michigan.  Thanks Mom & Dad!
