I was really excited to find this fabulous ASOS white sheer check midi skirt. It’s very similar to the gorgeous Tibi sheer checked midi skirt that I’ve been seeing everywhere. While this skirt is beautiful and I would highly recommend purchasing it, I feel like I must warn you. The lining is made of a thin cotton. The mesh tended to get caught on the lining when I walked, and the outer layer clung to the lining, causing it to bunch up. To fix this, I actually cut out the lining and wore the outer layer with a white silk skirt slip. This was a perfect fix, and the mesh layer now glides smoothly over the silk lining. Like I said, overall, I would still highly recommend this skirt. I felt so feminine and lady-like while wearing it, and I received several compliments from strangers on the street. Happy Monday!

This is the skirt that started it all. ”It all” referring to my love affair for 424 Fifth. I saw this gorgeous citron midi skirt in their lookbook back in January and had been dreaming about it ever since. It recently hit stores, and I made sure to be first in line to snag it.
The material is beautiful. It almost feels like taffeta which makes it seem like a fun party skirt that is still day appropriate. I’m 5’2″ but hemmed this skirt by 3″, which makes it a great length for those lucky tall ladies who want a midi style. I am so obsessed with this stunning skirt that I also selected it in a fabulous cobalt blue (courtesy of 424 Fifth), then went back the next day and purchased it myself in a soft shade of ivory. I hemmed the blue version, but left the ivory at the original length to change it up. You definitely be seeing a lot of these skirts on the blog in the future.

It’s official. My favorite color for Spring 2014 is powder blue. I just can’t get enough. It’s a soft pastel, but doesn’t feel overly girly. Lucky for me, I think it’s also everyone else’s fave color for Spring, so there is a lot of this beautiful hue in stores right now.
I couldn’t hit “add to cart” fast enough when I saw this stunning baby blue 424 Fifth birdcage skirt online. The satin fabric feels luxurious, and the bell shape is dramatic. A perfect pairing for these fabulous Zara heels I picked up a few weeks ago. A match made in powder blue heaven.
