“Hurry, hurry!” was what both my Man and I started screaming as it started to rain the moment we walked out the door to take these photos. I said, “Oh no, my suede shoes!” He said, “Your shoes?! What about the camera?!” Obviously, we have different priorities in life.

First it was Halloween, now it’s Christmas. I was feeling pretty good in this outfit until a male co-worker said, “You look like Christmas! In July!”. Why yes. . .yes I do. He thought it was a compliment. Me, not so much. Gotta love men.

I’m currently loving all things yellow, so I thought I would mix it up and try a sunny nail polish. I’m usually drawn to light pinks and neutrals, as they are easy to apply and match with everything, but I stepped a little out of my comfort zone with this bright polish. I’m not convinced that it’s a good look for me, although I do like it with this outfit. I felt a little like a teenager who painted her nails with actual paint during art class. Bright nails might be one of those looks I love on others, but not on me. Do you tend to stick to “match with everything” nail polish colours, or are you more adventurous when it comes to your nails?

If you’re a regular Crazy Style Love reader (I sincerely thank you), I’m sure you’ve noticed that I usually post my 9 to 5 outifts. I think I’ll try to show a few of my off-hours looks too. This is a typical summer weekend look for me: a lightweight dress or tank & skirt, with wedge sandals or flats (if I’m doing a lot of walking).
