Lots o’ Leopard

Monday, September 17, 2012 168 0

Skirt: J.Crew. Jacket: BCBG. Top: Ann Taylor. Shoes: Joan & David (recent). Handbag: Chanel. Necklace: ASOS. Rings: Coach, Kate Spade. Bracelet: H&M. Sunglasses: Chanel.

While cobalt is one of my favourite colours for Fall, leopard definitely has to be my favourite print.  It’s so fun, feminine, versatile, and bold, yet it can still act as a neutral.  Are you loving leopard for Fall too?

Ugh I love leopard and burgundy and leather and you took it all and made a beautiful outfit! This look is gorgeous! IMO, leopard is a neutral and goes with everything! In fact, I’ll be wearing my leopard heels on my next blog post 🙂 Fabulous, Jenny!

Thanks Stephanie! I debated between buying the pink or bordeaux. I couldn’t make up my mind, but finally decided that I should go with bordeaux because I didn’t have any in my wardrobe. I’m still wishing I bought the pink too!

Unfortunately, I haven’t found the right pair. I’ve seen leaopard shoes to L K Bennett (you know this brand?), maybe…

Oh no, I hope you find some soon. I’m familiar with LK Bennett (a favourite of Kate Middleton) but I have yet to try them on. I just saw a pair from Guess and from Nine West too. Good luck!

I love the color of the skirt. That is like my weakness color for this time of year. How’s the fit on it? Maybe I can purchase it online and wear it with stockings for the winter season. 🙂

    • Jenny
      September 18, 2012

Thanks so much Irene! I think it would look great with tights. Surprisingly I haven’t tried on many J.Crew skirts, but this one seems to run a bit big. I’m usually a 2/4 in most skirts and brands, and I bought a 0 in this one. I think I was a 2 or 4 in the J.Crew pencil skirts, so this definitely fits a bit bigger than those. I hope that helps!

I don’t even like leopard print but I love the way you’ve styled it. It actually looks chic in this, while most of the time I find animal prints a little vulgar.
