Jimmy Choo Abel Silver Mirrored Metallic Pump

Heels: Jimmy Choo (sold out but slightly higher heel still available).

Happy Friday everyone!  This is a quick post to highlight the newest shoes in my collection. . .the most gorgeous pair of silver pumps I’ve ever laid my eyes on . . . the Jimmy Choo Abel pump in Silver Mirrored Leather.

Saks Fifth Avenue was the only store to carry these beauties in the (perfect for me) 100mm heel height.  I was literally jumping up and down when I finally scored these on major sale.

They are so pretty that I can’t stop wearing them around the apartment, even while in my pajamas!  Justin keeps asking me if I’m going to a fancy pj party, and if I want to go outside so he can photograph my outfit for the blog. I’m sort of thinking that outfit might scare you all from coming back for another visit.

TGIF, and cheers to a fabulous weekend!

Cobalt Blue Chanel Jumbo

7 For All Mankind Distressed Denim Pencil Skirt

Skirt: 7 For All Mankind. Top: Zara. Shoes: Jimmy Choo. Sunglasses: Gucci. Rings: Stella & Dot, BCBG. Handbag: Chanel.

I’ve worn this exact outfit from head to toe about 5 times in the last 3 weeks, including to the Drake General Store Pop Up opening I posted the other day.  It’s a very simple look, but there’s something about it that makes me feel effortless and chic.  For me, it’s usually more about how an outfit makes me feel rather than what it actually looks like.

The Zara top I’m wearing has tiny gold buttons down the back, adding a cute, unexpected detail.  Of course I forgot to photograph the rear view, but you can see it in my past post “Shake Your Tail Feather“.

Out and About: Drake General Store Pop Up

Crazy Style Love

A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of being Jane’s plus-one to the opening of the Drake General Store pop up located in Hudson’s Bay in Toronto.  For those of you non-locals, the Drake General Store is the “gift shop” for the uber-cool Drake Hotel.  I put “gift shop” in quotations because this is no ordinary hotel “gift shop”.  The Drake General Store pulls inspiration from a general store, a museum shop and a flea market to create a unique destination for classic and modern goodies.  Much of the merchandise represents Canada’s eclectic heritage, along with global treasures and occasional rare antiques.

Below are a few photos from the pop up store, and also some of my favourite in-shop items.  I pretty much want all of these things for myself, but they all make great gift ideas too!  How fun is that spice shaker set and the scratch map?!  I’ll definitely be purchasing those two items soon! (You can click on each item for more details.)
