Anthropologie Fashion Show

A few days ago, the Anthropologie store at the Shops at Don Mills held a Fashion Show for Anthro Card Members. Never one to pass up anything Anthropologie, my girls and I jumped for joy at the chance to attend.  Of course the clothes were beautiful, but my favourite part about the show was that they used actual customers of all ages, shapes and sizes as their models.  I hope you enjoy these photos from the wonderful event.

Anthropologie Fashion Show

My Girls: Deanne (My Fash Avenue), Jane (Toronto Shopoholic), Iva (One Chic Mom), and Gaby (The Vault Files).

Everyone in the store was drooling over Deanne’s Anthro striped skirt!

Anthropologie Dresses

Two of my favourite dresses in-store, the Fleur-De-Lys Sheath Dress, and the Daisy Lace Sheath Dress.

Anthropologie Monogrammed Mugs

The prettiest mugs ever (of course, I already own the “J” mug).

Anthropologie Fashion Show

I love how they used candles to create the runway.

Anthropologie Fashion Show

The sangria was flowing and the cake pops were popping.  You just can’t have a party without yummy treats!

Anthropologie Fashion Show

I’m always a sucker for a statement necklace.

How fabulous are Gaby’s polka dot harem pants?!

What I wore: H&M floral peplum top and jeans, Nine West white pumps and Chanel sunglasses.

Yes, it was a blast! I hear that Anthro does these in a lot of different markets. I would definitely recommend grabbing your girl friends and hitting it up if there’s one near you! 🙂

I think my absolute favorite part of this is that they used “regular” models. (I don’t like to use the word “real” because it implies that models aren’t real. What I mean to say is that they used girls that are more representative of the typical population). How freakin awesome!!!

I totally agree with you Shira! It was great to see. I usually use the word “regular” too.

Oh, so that’s where you ladies were when you posted the group picture on Instagram! it looks like it was an intimate gathering too, not too many people blocking your view. Didn’t know Anthropologie did this; I’ll keep an eye out.
