If you follow along on Instagram, you may have seen that I spent this past Easter weekend in Chicago with my family. My parents and I have a long standing tradition of traveling to the Windy City every year for Easter. It’s always a fun weekend full of shopping, relaxing and eating.
When I was looking back at my photos from our trip, I realized that most of the pictures were of interesting textures, colors and signs, all on the ground. One of my favorite Instagram hashtags is #fromwhereistand, and you’ve probably noticed that I tend to take a lot of those types of pics. So I thought it would be fun to put them all together in one post and share them with you. I hope you enjoy.
My reflection in a Chicago landmark, the Bean.
Such amazing colors and textures at the new Alice & Olivia store on the Magnificent Mile. There is so much to look at in that store, that I only noticed this amazing light fixture in the reflection of this mirrored table when I went to take this photo.
More prettiness from the Alice & Olivia store, wearing Steve Madden sneakers.
Making a wish in the fountain at Millenium Park.
Beautiful tiles on the staircase at Anthropologie.
Heading inside one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago, Joe’s Seafood. A must try if you are visiting the City.
Yet more colors and prints inside of Alice & Olivia.
