TGIF! I am particularly excited to share today’s post with all of you. Living in the Beautiful North, you would think that I would have a huge wardrobe full of cold weather pieces to keep me nice and toasty this time of year, however, I’ve always struggled to find the perfect winter coat that keeps me super warm but doesn’t make me look like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man . . . until now.

Meet Eleven Elfs, my newest obsession, and the absolute most perfect winter coat I’ve ever worn. When Eleven Elfs approached me a couple of months ago to try one of their coats, I was a little hesitant because I’ve had bad luck with puffy coats in the past, where they usually overwhelm my frame and make me look huge. I visited their showroom to check out their full collection, and as soon as I tried on one of their beautiful coats, I was in L-O-V-E.

I was blown away by how soft and lightweight all of the Eleven Elfs coats are. Filled with 90% premium down and 10% feather, this coat keeps me oh-so-cozy and warm while outside in the elements, but it’s so lightweight that it somehow magically keeps me comfortable (and not overly heated) when inside a building or shopping in the mall. It’s washable so I don’t have to worry about dry cleaning, and it’s water repellant, which means water and snow just slide right off of it without making it damp. The coat is really flexible too, so my movements don’t feel restricted.

I can honestly say that this is my ideal winter coat. I’ve been telling all of my friends about it for weeks, and I’m thrilled to finally share it with you all. This is an investment piece but absolutely worth every penny. Now that the weather here is colder, I’ve been wearing it non-stop for the last two weeks, and I can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve received. I will most definitely be picking this coat up in another color. Now, the difficulty is just choosing which one! If you’re in the market for a new warm winter coat, I highly recommend this awesome Eleven Elfs coat.

I’ve never heard of this brand but I’m on the market to find myself the perfect cozy warm puffy down jacket with fur trim! I’ve been thinking about Mackage but i’d LOVE to try this one as well reading your post! I think it’ll serve me so well in NYC this winter. Is there any coupon code, discount code I can use to purchase? Thank you for your post.

Hi Sofie! Unfortunately, I don’t have a coupon code, but I highly recommend trying one of these coats on. I considered Mackage, and a few other brands, but I would have went with this Eleven Elfs coat, even if they didn’t approach me. I really truly believe that this coat is amazing.

I’ve never heard of this line either, but they do look really nice, and based on the price point, I’d assume they are comparable to Mackage or Canada Goose as far as warmth is concerned.

Do they sell the line at retail too? I feel so out of the loop! 😉

Honestly, I’ve tried all of those brands, and I much prefer Eleven Elfs. I believe they do sell in store but only in small boutiques. Here are some of the locations: http://elevenelfs.ca/pages/stores

Jenny!! I think you could have used this coat last year when the winter was brutal.lol. Gorgeous colour though. I don’t like how everyone chooses a basic black parka. I really enjoy the colour variations of coats.
