DSW Canada Lace Up Booties and Flats

Black Suede Lace Up Open Toe Heels

Dibba Pippa Lace Up Flats

Open Toe Cut Out Beige Booties

All Shoes from DSW  //  1. Crown Vintage (similar)  // 2. Diba  //  3. Audrey Brooke (similar)

Anyone who knows me knows that shoes are my weakness! I have over 130 pairs tucked into every nook and cranny in our tiny condo, not to mention dozens of pairs in storage at my parents house. Needless to say, I was pretty excited when DSW contacted me to participate in their new “Style & Deliver” program!

DSW‘s fabulous stylists worked with a few bloggers to assess our personal style and curate a new pair of on-trend designer shoes each month for 3 months. The 3 shoes selected for me by their stylists were right on point (and on trend!)! I love the each and every pair.

I had my eye on a pair of black lace-up flats, and I love the metal detailing on this pair from Diba. The black Crown Vintage cut-out booties are sky-high and look gorgeous with a black pencil skirt and white button down blouse, and I paired the Audrey Brooke peep-toe booties with ripped denim, a taupe leather jacket and a fringed bag. I’ll definitely be getting a lot of wear out of all 3 of these gorgeous shoes!

Thank you to DSW for partnering on this post!

Take a Deep Breath Gel Cream by Philosophy –  #dontforgettobreathe

Lululemon zip-up jacket (similar)  //  Gap capris  //  Adidas by Stella McCartney yoga mat (LOVE this yoga mat too)

Did you know that you can go 3 weeks without eating and 3 days without water, but you can only go 3 minutes without breathing?! That is because oxygen is essential to life. Breathing is necessary to fuel not only your brain, but also your skin.

I’m excited to partner with Philosophy to introduce their new Take a Deep Breath Oil-Free Oxygenating Gel Cream. It’s a lightweight, oil-free gel cream that keeps skin hydrated, energized, and protected from pollution, so it can “breathe” freely and recover from the signs of daily life that may age your skin. The older I get, the more concerned I am about my aging skin. I love that Take A Deep Breath feels lightweight, non-greasy, and doesn’t clog my pores. It leaves my skin feeling fresh, energized and radiant looking.

Taking a deep breath is actually one of the most de-stressing things that I do on the regular. My mind and body feel so relaxed after I take a series of slow inhales and exhales. It helps me feel less anxious, and releases built up tension in my body. I try to do yoga 3 times a week in the early morning to help start my day feeling relaxed and energized. Every night as soon as I get into bed, I take 5 big, slow breaths to de-stress from my day. Focusing on my breathing helps to clear my mind before falling asleep. As Philosophy so perfectly sums it up, “You see life more clearly when you take a moment to breathe.”

Thank you to Philosophy for partnering on this post!

Red and Black Plaid Check Cape

Agape and Hesed cape  //  Ted Baker ‘Yamato’ Booties  //  Aldo belt (old)  //  floppy hat  //  Chanel handbag  //  Hue tights

I had some major cape love last Winter, and this year is no different. When I saw my crazy talented friend Victoria wearing this buffalo plaid cape, I just had to know where she got it. To no surprise, she had made this cape as a new addition to her collection of handmade accessories at Agape and Hesed. Of course, I had to have it too. She also makes the most gorgeous clutches (I have this one and this one, and I’ll be adding more to my collection soon)!

On another note, I just got these Ted Baker booties, and they are oh so comfortable! I l-o-v-e the shiny wooden heel detailing. I also love that the heel is a bit chunkier than I normally wear, which adds to its comfort, but still looks delicate and polished. Such a great boot for both work and weekends.
