One year ago today, Crazy Style Love was born . . . and what a year it’s been.  Never in my wildest dreams could I have predicted the incredible amount of joy, support and personal growth I would receive from starting this blog. To recap the past 365 days, I thought it was fitting to showcase how I’ve worn one item in different ways.

Looking back at some of these photos, I realize just how much my style has evolved over the last year.  To some, the changes might not be apparent, but to me, it’s like night and day.  I feel that my style is much more refined than 12 months ago, and the new pieces that I’m adding to my wardrobe better suit where I want my style to be.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your incredible and constant support.  The lovely e-mails and sweet comments you leave day after day are so touching and always bring a smile to my face.  I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Dress: BCBG (similar by MSGM, and loving this one shoulder version too!). Handbag: Coach. Shoes: Nine West (U.S. link) (Canadian link). Watch: Michael Kors. Rings: Coach. Sunglasses: Chanel.

When I was uploading these photos, I realized that I’ve been wearing a lot of pink and yellow over the last couple of weeks (as seen here and here).  Probably because this colour combination screams “Spring”, and I’m so ready for Winter to be over.  I’m loving any shade of pink with yellow right now, including pastel pink and the dress that I’m wearing in these photos which has more of a coral hue.

These photos were taken last week in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona.  It was so nice to bust out the summer wardrobe, and it really put me in warm weather mode.  I’ve decided that I’m officially done with wearing pantyhose or tights until next Fall.  I might regret that decision tomorrow when our temps will be near the freezing mark, but I’ll stay strong.

Despite the cold weather, I’m really looking forward to this weekend.  My parents and brother are coming to Toronto for a visit, which means a great few days full of family, fun and food.  Do you have any big weekend plans?  I hope you all have a great one!

Coat: J.Crew. Blouse: J.CrewSkirt: J.Crew. Clutch: Henri Bendel. Shoes: Joan & David. Rings: Coach, Kate Spade. Necklace: BCBG. Sunglasses: Chanel.

I’m taking a short break from my Fashion Week posts to share this outfit and guest post I’m doing today for the super sweet Tash at her blog, Style-Isle, while she is on vacation.  I must confess that styling this burgundy skirt with this bright pink coat was not my idea.  I copied this combination from a J.Crew ad. . . the very same ad where I first laid my eyes on this beautiful fuschia coat.  I already owned the skirt, but I knew that once I bought this coat I would definitely pair them together.

Speaking of a vacay, I’m pretty excited to be heading to Chicago this long weekend with my family for a few days of fun, great shopping and delicious food.  Heading to the Windy City for Easter has become a tradition for our family, minus my brother.  A weekend of shopping is not exactly what he considers to be “fun”.  Oh, boys. . . what do they know!?  I’m also looking forward to indulging in what I think is the best cheesecake out there, after my Mom’s of course.  I think I’ve tried nearly every flavour of cheesecake on The Cheesecake Factory’s menu, my favourite’s being the Chocolate Raspberry Truffle Cheesecake and the Lemon Raspberry Cream. . . yummmm!

Today, I’m also linking up with the fabulous Lauren at her blog Style Elixir, for her Style Sessions series.  Thank you to both Tash and Lauren for allowing me to share my looks on your blogs!
