Black & gold…..such a striking, classic combo that I’ve had a long time obsession with. It feels elegant, sophisticated and chic. Two black & gold items in my wardrobe that I’ve recently picked up are these fab sunglasses and this sparkly top/skirt combo.

I can’t stop wearing these Tom Ford ‘Fany’ sunglasses from IRIS the Visual Group. They have a retro vibe that seems to add a coolness factor to everything I wear. I go through phases with my eyewear brand choices, and right now I can’t stop buying Tom Ford. I’ve recently picked up several pairs of Tom Ford sunglasses and eyeglasses from IRIS, as they have such a great selection.

Side note…speaking of eyeglasses…over the last few years, I’ve been noticing that my vision has been getting worse and worse. I’ve recently started wearing my eyeglasses more often, and my eye health has become a major focus for me. I’m super excited to partner with IRIS the Visual Group for 2017 to share the importance of eye health. Stay tuned for more to come!

Now, back to the black & gold convo…as for this stunning Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28 sparkly blouse and skirt, I was at the Nordstrom Yorkdale grand opening a couple months back, and saw this outfit on a mannequin. I feel immediately in love, and decided that I would go back the following week to try it on. Not even 5 minutes later, I saw another guest at the party wearing the exact same outfit! It looked stunning on her, and at that moment, I knew I needed to own this outfit. I love that they are separates instead of a dress, because i can split them up to create different outfits as well. Both of these pieces are keeping my black & gold love going strong.

Thank you to IRIS the Visual Group for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.

I had some major cape love last Winter, and this year is no different. When I saw my crazy talented friend Victoria wearing this buffalo plaid cape, I just had to know where she got it. To no surprise, she had made this cape as a new addition to her collection of handmade accessories at Agape and Hesed. Of course, I had to have it too. She also makes the most gorgeous clutches (I have this one and this one, and I’ll be adding more to my collection soon)!

On another note, I just got these Ted Baker booties, and they are oh so comfortable! I l-o-v-e the shiny wooden heel detailing. I also love that the heel is a bit chunkier than I normally wear, which adds to its comfort, but still looks delicate and polished. Such a great boot for both work and weekends.

TGIF! Wow, this has been one long week, and I’m so excited the weekend is finally here! If you follow along on Instagram, you may have noticed that Justin and I spent last week in Nashville for U.S. Thanksgiving. It was 5 days full of family, food, shopping, food, fun, and, did I mention food? We ate so much food, that this gorgeous Jill Jill Stuart lace dress that I wore last week to a holiday party can no longer be zipped up in the back.

I’ve partnered with Jill Jill Stuart to showcase 3 of her stunning dresses over the next couple of weeks. I’ve had my eye on this beautiful LBD for a while now, so it was of course my #1 pick. I’ve already worn it twice this holiday season. Sizing for her dresses is pretty true-to-size, and this one fits like a dream. The material is thick and feels very high quality. This will certainly be a dress that I’ll have in my wardrobe for years to come.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!
