3 Bloggers 3 Ways - Spring Florals 1

I am so excited to be partnering with two fabulous ladies today to showcase 3 ways to wear Spring Florals.   Tara (from Mix & Match Fashion) and Marion (from Marionberry Style) are two of the sweetest ladies you’ll meet and both have an incredible sense of style.  Funny enough, we all chose florals in cooler shades of purples and blues, and all three of us went with white handbags.  I’m all about the white pumps and handbags right now, and I’m on the hunt for a slightly larger white bag than the one I’m carrying.  I haven’t found the perfect bag yet, but once I do, you’ll definitely see it here.  Be sure to check out Tara and Marion’s blogs for more photos of their Spring Floral looks.

Happy Monday Everyone!  I hope you all had a lovely weekend!  Yesterday, I attended a tea party at one of the prettiest stores I’ve ever been to, Blush.  I’ll share pics of the event tomorrow, but here is what I wore to the lovely shopping party.  When putting this outfit together, I started with this pretty purple Choies skirt, then added the other purple pieces to create an ombre feel from top to bottom.  I really love the shading effect that was created, and I definitely plan to try this again in different hues.

A side note about this Choies skirt.  This was my first time ordering from Choies, and I actually ordered this same skirt in red at the same time.  Both were on sale for only $19.  The material is quite pretty, however, the bottoms of both skirts were unevenly hemmed, and the button holes on both skirts were stitched closed.  The skirts were much too long for me, so I had to have both hemmed regardless, which fixed the uneven hem.  At only $25, I would certainly recommend purchasing these skirts, however, as you would guess for only $25, the quality is not top notch.

Powder Blue

Skirt: 424 Fifth. Top: 424 Fifth (c/o). Shoes: Zara. Necklace: Ily Couture (c/o). Handbag: Coach. Sunglasses: Gucci.

It’s official.  My favorite color for Spring 2014 is powder blue.  I just can’t get enough.  It’s a soft pastel, but doesn’t feel overly girly.  Lucky for me, I think it’s also everyone else’s fave color for Spring, so there is a lot of this beautiful hue in stores right now.

I couldn’t hit “add to cart” fast enough when I saw this stunning baby blue 424 Fifth birdcage skirt online.  The satin fabric feels luxurious, and the bell shape is dramatic.  A perfect pairing for these fabulous Zara heels I picked up a few weeks ago.  A match made in powder blue heaven.
