I’m so excited to share the 2nd of 3 posts wearing my favorite dresses from the Jill Jill Stuart Fall and Holiday Collections. It was really hard to choose my top pieces from the collections, but as soon as I saw this stunning hand-cut floral strapless dress, there was no question in my mind that this was at the top of my list. It fits like a glove, and the color is just so pretty. I wore this to a holiday party last week, and I couldn’t stop looking down at all of the gorgeous little flowers.

Since we had so much snow last week, Gaby and I slipped into our favorite cupcake spot to take these photographs. If you are ever in Toronto, Desmond & Beatrice is a must visit for the best cupcakes you’ll ever eat.

A few week back, I mentioned that I was partnering with Monica Rich Kosann to host a dinner to welcome the gorgeous jewelry designer for a visit to Toronto. The dinner was at one of my favorite restaurants, Colette Grand Cafe, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. It was an evening full of great company, delicious food and beautiful jewelry.

I wanted to wear something feminine and pretty to the dinner, and this Kate Spade matching dress and shoes was the perfect combo. When I was planning out this outfit in my head, I was a little scared that the matchy-matchy prints might be overkill, but once I actually tried it on, I was in love.

Below are a few photos from the dinner with Monica Rich Kosann, photographed by the talented Heidi Lau. Side note, Heidi also photographed my girl Gaby‘s home for a Style Me Pretty Living feature. You’ll definitely want to check out the photos of her beautiful condo.

One of the best parts about blogging is getting to work with and promote really great brands and products that I absolutely love and can’t live without. PARTYSKIRTS is one such brand. PARTYSKIRTS is a division of Skot Apparel, founded by two of the funnest sisters around, Lauren and Mariel Armstrong. Besides wishing I was their best friend, I have a weakness for their gorgeous silk party-perfect skirts.

This stunning Lady Length Skirt in Teacher’s Pet Purple (how fun is that name!), is the first PARTYSKIRTS in my collection, but I see many more in my future. The material is beautiful, the fit is voluminous without being overwhelming, and a huge bonus is that these skirts are made in Canada. It’s so wonderful to be able to support local talent and products.
