Summer is almost here, but our Toronto weather still requires dressing in light layers.  This ASOS floral coat is one of my favorite pieces for Spring.  With so many pretty colors in the floral print, it’s surprisingly versatile and can be worn with a ton of different color combinations.  H&M has a gorgeous floral kimono that I’ve had my eye on, which would be perfect for layering in the Spring.

These Zara pink pants are the perfect shade of soft pink.  Sadly, they are from last Fall but Banana Republic currently has a similar jacquard pair of skinny trousers that are a beautiful pastel pink.

Happy Monday Everyone!  I hope you have a wonderful start to your week!

I’ve made the decision to spring forward with Spring, and leave Winter far, far behind, regardless of the weather temperatures.  Okay, I say this now and I’ll probably change my tune at the first sight of a snowflake in the sky, but, I am moving ahead with bringing out the bright colors, flouncy skirts and colorful florals from my wardrobe.

I was recently offered the chance to try out the new Sloan collection from Banana Republic, and I immediately went for these gorgeous turquoise slim ankle pants.  FYI, they have the perfect amount of stretch to them, keep their shape with multiple wears, the fabric is rich, and they fit like a glove.  If you can’t tell, I love them!  Highly recommended.  But back to my “vow of Spring”.  My first instinct was to pair these pants with a black and white striped top, black pumps and a black handbag.  I’m sure I will wear that outfit later on, but I’m so ready for color, so I went all out and wore as many brights as possible.  I felt cheery, colorful and had a spring in my step (pun intended).

Raise your hand if you’re as fed up with this crazy polar vortex as much as I am!  I’ve just about hit my limit. Doesn’t Mother Nature know that it’s hard to wear pretty clothes and high heels when it’s constantly snowing and the temperature is below the freezing point?!  The only thing that can get me through these chilly days are pretty coats and sparkly accessories.

Speaking of sparkly accessories, many of you have asked me about these gorgeous bedazzled H&M leather gloves.  Unfortunately I purchased them last year, however H&M did make a very similar version this year in wool instead of leather.  I’m not sure if the gloves are still in stores, but I did see them last month.  Good luck if you’re on the hunt for these!
