Happy Monday Everyone! I posted a photo of this beautiful wrap floral dress on Instagram a few weeks back, and received several requests to post more photos on the blog. I wore this Necessary Clothing dress to a fun event last week (which I’ll be sharing more details in the next few days), and received so many compliments on the gorgeous Summery print. Women were in shock when I told them I only paid $45 for it! It’s definitely a dress I’ll be wearing over and over again this Summer.
Summer is almost here, but our Toronto weather still requires dressing in light layers. This ASOS floral coat is one of my favorite pieces for Spring. With so many pretty colors in the floral print, it’s surprisingly versatile and can be worn with a ton of different color combinations. H&M has a gorgeous floral kimono that I’ve had my eye on, which would be perfect for layering in the Spring.
I was really excited to find this fabulous ASOS white sheer check midi skirt. It’s very similar to the gorgeous Tibi sheer checked midi skirt that I’ve been seeing everywhere. While this skirt is beautiful and I would highly recommend purchasing it, I feel like I must warn you. The lining is made of a thin cotton. The mesh tended to get caught on the lining when I walked, and the outer layer clung to the lining, causing it to bunch up. To fix this, I actually cut out the lining and wore the outer layer with a white silk skirt slip. This was a perfect fix, and the mesh layer now glides smoothly over the silk lining. Like I said, overall, I would still highly recommend this skirt. I felt so feminine and lady-like while wearing it, and I received several compliments from strangers on the street. Happy Monday!
