One of my favourite holiday gifts to give and receive is fragrance. Perfumes feel like a luxury that often times people don’t purchase for themselves. Or, a woman will have her one signature scent that she’ll purchase, but she still wants to build a fragrance “wardrobe”, and have other options for different moods, seasons, and occasions.
I absolutely love having a collection of fragrances that I can mix and match, and sometimes even layer. Perfumes smell totally different on me than they do in the bottle or on other people, so I’m always testing out fragrances in the store to see what they actually smell like on my skin. I have a huge collection of perfumes, and it’s one that I’m always looking to grow.
These 7 scents are some of my absolute favourites, and smell very similar on me as they do in the bottle. Hopefully, none of my close friends are reading this post, because some of them will be receiving a few of these scents this year for Christmas. 😉

I always pay for all of my gifts during the holiday season using my RBC Rewards credit card. When RBC Rewards reached out to partner on a post to share a special offer they have with Saks Fifth Avenue Canada, I jumped at the opportunity! The RBC Rewards program is incredible. We collect points on every purchase, and they add up so quickly. Justin and I haven’t paid for an airline ticket in over 2 years, as we always use our points to redeem for airfare (trips to Hawaii, Washington DC, San Francisco, and Nashville just in the last year)!
From now until December 31, you will automatically receive 2x points when you use your RBC Rewards credit card in store at Saks (CF Toronto Eaton Centre or CF Sherway Gardens locations)! And if you sign in to RBCRewards.com and opt into the holiday promotion, you’ll actually receive 3x points! I’ll definitely be purchasing my holiday fragrance gifts at Saks using my RBC Rewards card. You can also earn 3x points at Apple.ca (online only until Dec 31)! Be sure to visit RBCRewards.com first, sign-in and opt-in to earn 3x points when you pay with your RBC Rewards credit card. There are so many great deals!
What are your favourite gifts to give and receive? Please let me know your favourite fragrances! I’m always looking for new ones to try!
Thank you to RBC Rewards for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
